SEO Case Study- Ranking 200+ Keywords within 120 Days
The ‘Spluseo’ team recently rated a website for a customer for more than 100 keywords. The success story is provided below.
Situation
The website focuses on kid-friendly products. Due to the presence of much large fish, the niche is quite competitive. Therefore, Google should have included the website on the first page. We are unable to reveal the site’s identity for several reasons. In the early half of May, the customer came to us with the site. She requested that we rank the website for a few keywords within the next three to four months so that she may make a modest sale. However, the keywords were so fiercely contested that it took a lot of work for a new website to rank quickly in those categories.
A new site has around 30–35 articles. The majority of them concentrated on very competitive keywords. Therefore, it was a difficult scenario for us. We went up to her and explained the circumstance. We suggested that she make the site visible for lucrative yet low-competitive keywords. She urged us to approach anyway since she could see the scenario. She was just interested in making sales. Our group got to work on it.
Our Process
To rank the website, we used the generic SEO procedure.
SEO Audit
We first concentrated on the website’s SEO as it is at the moment. We carried out an SEO assessment for this. We discovered several severe technical and on-page SEO concerns as a result. All the issues were noted and set aside to be dealt with later.
Competitor Analysis
We looked at the competition based on the main terms she concentrated on. We’ve previously said that we discovered several large fish battling on the first two pages of the search results. These websites have high DA and PA ratings. So, before combating such sites, we had to establish our authority. Thus, we decided to focus on new keywords rather than continue with the current ones.
Keyword Research
We hired our keyword research experts to uncover some highly valuable yet low-competitive keywords for her website. We concentrated on useful keywords rather than competitive keywords. We identified around 10–12 keywords with ranking potential. The keywords had a modest amount of search activity.
We decided to move forward with those.
Content Creation
We requested our content writers to produce top-notch articles based on the keywords after receiving their keywords. The articles only aimed to direct readers to the information they sought and desired destinations. Additionally, the articles had the most recent information, which some of the competition lacked. While carefully reviewing the competitors, we discovered this gap. It would help if you noticed these gaps while striving to score higher.
On-page SEO
We began working with the website’s existing content while our authors created fantastic articles. The on-page SEO has several substantial holes that we discovered. Meta titles and descriptions were initially correct. Then, our specialists concentrated on making the current article keywords more effective.
Finally, those titles were fixed a bit.
Technical SEO
Then, we got to work on the website’s technical components. The speed was subpar, just as with most websites we’ve used. Thus, we concentrated on accelerating the pace. We had to put forth a lot of effort. But the effort was worthwhile.
Additionally, we fixed typos, updated several URLs, and enhanced the site’s architecture. While doing this, we regularly published articles emphasizing on-page SEO. We also searched for a few other ranking-worthy keywords. This time, we prioritized money keywords.
Backlink Creation
After resolving the technical problems, we concentrated on obtaining high-quality backlinks from DA-ranking websites. Our goal was to enhance authority while also directing traffic from those websites. We tried to create connections from websites related to our industry and where users may find our website when searching for a solution.
Our professionals were given few chances and managed to get connections from reputable websites. Then the process of researching keywords and creating content continued. Throughout the study, we discovered around 25 keywords and produced 22 articles. Internal linking was a major concern when the papers were published.
What Happened After This Process?
We concentrated on using new keywords in this section to increase website traffic. Because of this, we concentrated on identifying new, viable keywords and creating content around them. We wrote around 5–6 articles in the first month and saw a spike in traffic as two keywords appeared on the top page immediately. The website received first-page rankings for around 20–21 keywords in the second month. We chose six out of them. The rest happened on its own. This month, we released roughly ten pieces. In the third month, we released the remaining articles and discovered that the site was on the first page of search results for around 90 terms. By the conclusion of the third month, it was the top-ranked website for 25 distinct keywords. After the fourth month, the website appeared on the first search results page for 204 distinct keywords. It was ranked first for more than 50 of those keywords. Sales for our customer began in the second month. Compared to the figure in the second month, the number of orders in the fourth month nearly Tripled, which is the story of our pride and honor. It is the story of ranking a website for 200+ keywords within 120 days and helping our client to generate and increase sales.
What’s Our Plan Now?
Following a conversation with our customer, we are now attempting to boost the website’s authority and fight with the big fish for competitive keywords. We are aware that this voyage will be lengthy. However, she now enjoys SEO and wants to spend more money on it. We have previously prepared something for this. We are now examining the major players in the field and searching for any holes they may have. We will analyze the key rivals, identify their weaknesses, and attempt to outperform them in the market.
Final Verdict
Although a little protracted, the voyage was relatively easy. From the website, our customer hoped to make some sales. So, to rank quicker, we concentrated on locating the untapped keywords. It enabled us to provide our customers with precisely what they requested. We are working hard for the next stage. We hope to succeed this time as well. Let’s wait and see. On this project, where the remainder of the work will be governed, you’ll obtain another case study.
